Stinger Systems Announces 'Trade In Your Taser' Program
December 6, 2004
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 6,2004. STINGER SYSTEMS, INC.
(STIY.PK), a provider of advanced non-lethal technologies, today
announced a program for law enforcement professionals to earn
significant discounts by switching from Taser to Stinger
less-than-lethal weapons.
Stinger Systems is currently offering a discount of $100 per gun to
purchase Stinger's single cartridge model, and a discount of $150 on
purchases of Stinger's two-cartridge model. Both models are expected to
be available to law enforcement professionals in early first quarter of
2005.
"We understand that law enforcement budgets are tight," said Robert
Gruder, Chairman and CEO of Stinger Systems. "In many cases, the high
costs of Taser's weapons have caused police departments to under-arm
their officers. We believe that our affordable, more accurate Stinger
projectile stun gun, will allow more law enforcement professionals to
have non-lethal technologies at their side."
